On May 17, 2008 approximately 75 volunteers came together in an effort to clean, weed, mulch and plant along the business districts (Main St. and Marshall St.). The goal of this cleanup event was to beautify the streets and encourage business owners to maintain their property in an effort to increase the positive appeal of Norristown.
